"Going through a process, through several steps of a painful journey that leads to recovery. It took me 10 years to arrive at the final stage of acceptance after my brother Andrey was taken from me. However, we might need to grieve our childhood or a not-so-fit parent, as the pain and a sense of loss can be huge and impactful in our adulthood. We go through shock and denial, pain and guilt, anger and bargaining, depression and reflection, working through and finally accepting it. We cannot live in the past, but we 100% have to work through it, by going through the stages of grief and finally acceptance. Break the cycle, continue to learn from other's mistakes, and be humble about your wins."- Marina
